While studying Martial Arts in the late 90', our instructor said the more we
learn about the martial arts, the damaging aspects and destruction, we should
learn to balance it out with healing knowledge. One of hissuggestions was
Reiki. Another was massage therapy. (I also learned to do Japanese
Restoration Therapy, a type of massage.)

After taking the first class, or getting my Reiki I and Reiki II attunements,
I decided that he was definitely correct. I felt more in balance, and I was
able to help others with my new talents. I found that I really liked helping
others in this manner. This was in October of 1998. That is also when I
decided that I wanted to become a Reiki Master so that I could help spread
this knowledge to others, so that more people would be able to heal.

In May of 1999 there was another Reiki Master class, so I enrolled in it.
The class was a small class, but that made it that much more personal.
After getting my Reiki III (Master) attunement, I had all the tools I needed
to spread the healing, although it wasn't until recently that I started giving
attunements.

I have always wanted the first attunement, outside of the class, to be my wife,
Christa. She has always wanted to get an attunement from me as well, but she
just wasn't ready. Of course I did not want to push the issue as I knew sooner
or later she would be ready and would come to me. I did ask several times
over the years, but I also knew she wasn't quite ready. Finally, she felt
she was ready, and that is when I gave my first attunement.

Now that I have given my first attunement to Christa, I now feel ready to
spread the "healing power" and doing Reiki treatments more actively.
I now feel it is the time to actively start spready the healing energy, as
well as teaching and attuning others so thet they may also spread the healing.

|
Starting in 2008, I will be doing Reiki Treatments (Reiki Energy work) at
Virgo Rising in Cumberland, MD, and at my home in Keyser, WV and could even
be persuaded to travel to Abram's
Creek Retreat and Campground in West Virginia. Stop by one of those locations
for more information and to sign up for a session.

Also starting in January of 2008, I will be holding Reiki I and II classes and
giving attunements in the Keyser, WV/Cumberland, MD area. All classes will
be by sign up so that I have an idea of how many people plan to attend.
The first class will be in my home in January, but the class is already full.
The next Reiki I and Reiki II class will be at
Abram's Creek Retreat
and Campground between Mt. Storm, WV and Elk Garden, WV, with
space still available. The third planned class will be a Reiki I class at
Virgo Rising in Cumberland, MD, but space is very limited at this location,
with a maximum class size of about 3 people.

If you would like to have any Reiki Class in your home, location, etc., I
would be willing to travel to your area as long as the travel expenses are
reimbursed, or the class is large enough to pay for the expenses. For this
option, I would need at least a month or two advance notice, or at least
an idea that you would like to hold a class at a given time or in a given
month in advance, even if there is a possibility that enough students are not
able to participate, that way I can make sure I will be able to make sure I
will be available when the time comes. Contact me for more information.

The cost for the classes will be as follows:
- Reiki I - $100.00
- Reiki II - $150.00
- Reiki III (Master) - Contact me for details and to schedule a time
Whenever you take a class and get a Reiki Attunement with me, I always invite
you to come to any of the classes you have had for a refresher course, space
permitting, of course. If you get a Reiki Master Attunement with me, then I also
encourage you to help give Reiki Attunements at the next Reiki I and II classes,
as well as the next Reiki III class, for more practice giving attunements, as well
as holding your own class when you feel you are ready. I would also help you with
your Reiki classes, when you are ready, as long as you are in this area, or travel
expenses are reimbursed.
